UBQT Inc. is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with Quebec's Law 25 (Bill 64) and applicable federal laws, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

This policy describes how we collect, use, retain, and protect your personal information in the context of our cloud infrastructure services.

Information Collected

In the course of providing our services, we may collect the following information :

First and last name
Email address
Billing information (address, payment method)
Service usage data (resource consumption, configurations)
Technical logs (IP addresses, access logs, timestamps)

Use of Information

Your personal information is used for the following purposes :

Provide, maintain, and improve our cloud infrastructure services
Billing and account management
Technical support and incident resolution
Continuous improvement of our services and infrastructure
Communications related to your account or our services (with your consent for promotional communications)

Article 4

Data Hosting

All data is hosted exclusively in Canada, in our region CAN-QC01. No international data transfer is performed. Your data remains at all times on Canadian territory, subject to Canadian and Quebec personal information protection laws.

Article 5

Information Sharing

We never sell your personal information. Sharing is strictly limited to subcontractors necessary for the operation of our services (payment processing, for example), and only under confidentiality agreements providing an equivalent level of protection to that offered by this policy.

We may also disclose your information if required by law or in response to a valid court order.

Security

We implement rigorous security measures to protect your information :

Encryption at rest (AES-256) for all stored data
Encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) for all communications
Strict access controls based on the principle of least privilege
24/7 monitoring of our infrastructure
Regular security audits

Article 7

Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. After your account is closed, your data are retained for a period of 90 days to allow for possible reactivation, after which they are securely deleted. Backup copies are purged within 30 days following the deletion of primary data.

Your Rights (Law 25 (Bill 64))

In accordance with Quebec's Law 25 (Bill 64), you have the following rights :

Access : you may request a copy of your personal information
Rectification : you may request the correction of inaccurate information
Deletion : you may request the deletion of your personal information
Portability : you may request the transfer of your data in a structured format
Withdrawal of consent : you may withdraw your consent at any time
